Chop Chop Mustard Sauce Recipe

CHOP CHOP Recipe featuring Curry Mustard Sauce

If you’ve heard of Chicken Kitchen, Stars Kitchen, 3 Chefs or any of those novelty Chicken and Rice franchises then you are most likely familiar with the flavors of the yellow curry mustard sauce that we all so lovingly douse our yellow rice and chicken chop chop bowls with.   

As a mother of 2 boys and a lover of all food, I often crave the flavors of some of my favorite restaurants, but often times prefer to prepare it at home, especially when the ingredients are always in stock in my kitchen. This recipe is so simple and so delicious that you will find yourself making it regularly.

CHICKEN CHOP CHOP | recipe serves 2  

  • 2 thin chicken breasts lightly salted (bake 350 for 30 min & chop)
  • 1 cup of chopped iceberg lettuce (eyeball it)
  • 1 chopped tomato (slightly firm ideal)
  • cook yellow rice as directed on package


  • Pour about 1/2 cup of mayonnaise into a small bowl
  • 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of curry ( a little goes a long way)
  • 1 tablespoons of water (if thick add more)
  • Stir, taste, and adjust. ¬†

Assemble! Place about 3 large spoonfuls of rice into a bowl, sprinkle on half the chicken, a handful of lettuce and top it with tomatoes.  Finish it off with as much of that delicious mustard sauce as you can handle. Enjoy!
